言论自由与责任伦理——析胡适“敬慎无所苟”的议政理念

Abstract: Hu Shi claimed responsibilities for liberty of speech and seriously advocated political deliberation philosophy of respectful cautiousness against randomness in 1933. “Independent spirit”, “researching attitude” and “clarified thoughts” are the prerequisites for the philosophy. Hu Shi’s adherence to the philosophy indicates his conscientious pursuit of “Ethics of Responsibility” which can be explained by his belief in “immortal society” at individual level and free intellectuals’ endeavor to reach the center of the society from the periphery at group level.
